Collector checks

Use the relevant nation’s waste carrier and scrap metal dealer licensing routes. Match identity, vehicle, payment recipient and receipt. Cash payment restrictions and record requirements can apply; check current local rules.

Value

Price depends on material grade, contamination, weight and live market. Obtain current itemised terms and scale evidence where payment is weight-based. Not all metal has positive value after collection and processing.
